As a securities lawyer in
New York, Leslie Trager has
represented public investors who
have been taken advantage of by
brokerage firms. Today, most
securities cases must be brought as
arbitrations before the NASD or the
NYSE. In August, 2003, he recovered
$1.4 million in an NASD arbitration
against J.P. Morgan Securities for
making unsuitable recommendations
to an investor. Leslie Trager is an
active member of the Public
Investors Arbitration Bar
Association (PIABA).
He also represents employees in the
securities industry who are owed
commissions or who have been
wrongfully terminated. Leslie
Trager handled the leading case in
New York in the securities wrongful
termination field - Mulder v
Donaldson Lufkin &
Jenrette.

Leslie Trager is on the
Commercial Panel of the American
Arbitration Association. He also
handles private arbitratons.

He has successfully represented
clients in business disputes in such
diverse areas as business valuations,
tracing of assets, anti trust,
insurance (representing both sides),
construction and breach of contract.
Although most of his cases have been
litigated or arbitrated in the New
York area, he has been admitted for
particular cases in Tennessee,
Massachusetts, Nevada and
Arizona.
